All types of manuscripts that can contribute to the study of design history, including academic papers, book reviews, exhibition reviews, essays, international conference participation reports, various contributions, and works of design history and its neighboring disciplines.All submitted manuscripts can only be published after a review process.Manuscripts that have already been published are not permitted, and manuscripts published in this journal cannot be arbitrarily published on other pages. Manuscripts that have already been published or published in other journals or media are resubmitted, or one manuscript is reviewed and published at the same time. In the case of duplicate submissions in other journals at the same time, the submission and publication will be canceled regardless of the results of the review, and the submission qualification will be disqualified for the next one year. Academic conferences, publication in academic journals, and manuscript submissions will be conducted according to the following schedule. However, submission of manuscripts is carried out from time to time.Conference: 3rd week of May every year, 3rd week of October every year (twice a year, date may change)Submission deadline: July 10th and November 10th every yearJournal publication date: August 31st and February 29th every yearManuscripts can be submitted online at any time. In the case of non-dissertation, the above regulations should be followed as much as possible, but should be written at the contributor's autonomy.
For notation-related matters not specified in this regulation, the Korean Language Literature Regulations of the National Institute of the Korean Language (http://kornorms.korean.go.kr/regltn/regltnView.do#a) and the Standard Korean Dictionary (https://stdict.korean.go. kr).
Upon submission, the submission fee (examination fee) of 30,000 won is paid to the conference account.If the publication is confirmed after the review is completed, an additional 100,000 won will be paid for the publication fee. (Same for thesis and non-dissertation) (However, manuscript fees are paid for manuscripts requested by the Publishing Committee and Editorial Committee.)All contributors pay an additional publication fee of KRW 5,000 per page in the case of more than 15 pages based on the thesis writing format.The publication fee for thesis receiving research funding is 250,000 won. (Submission fee is the same as general submission)The Society issues a receipt for the submission fee and publication fee when requested by the contributor.Submission fees are waived if thesis presented at the conference is revised and submitted. Submitted thesis is requested to be reviewed by two or more judges commissioned according to each specialized field without the information of the contributor. Submitted thesis is reviewed by appointing two researchers specialized in the relevant field, and whether or not it is possible to publish it is decided. However, in the case of a judgment in which the content of the judges is contradictory, an additional judge is appointed, and the final result is made by synthesizing the results of the three judges.
Focusing on the originality of the subject, the quality of the thesis, professionalism, system and format, academic contribution, and adherence to research ethics, the evaluation is conducted in accordance with the items and scoring criteria set in the 「Thesis Review」.Evaluation grade
Based on the evaluation results of two judges, the editorial committee decides on publication, revised publication, re-evaluation after revised, and rejection of publication.
If the evaluation grade is less than 90 points, the contributor may be requested to revise or supplement the manuscript. Submitters who are requested to be revised and supplemented submit the revised thesis by the schedule specified by the Journal Publishing Committee. However, if there is an objection to the request for revision, the contributor can raise the objection in writing up to 30 days before publication of the journal, and the editor-in-chief can attach it to the written review.In the ethics evaluation category, the editorial committee deliberates and decides whether or not plagiarism is first, with the editorial board withheld the determination of whether or not to publish the manuscript that received an error score from even one judge.Papers that have been judged to be suspected of plagiarism in the review process are referred to the Research Ethics Committee, finalized through investigation, deliberation, and judgment, and take action in accordance with the Research Ethics Regulations.
It conforms to the thesis review criteria, but the format gives the author the maximum degree of autonomy depending on the nature of the manuscript. The publication value of non-dissertation is evaluated by placing the greatest importance on the level and diversity that can expand the content and extension of the research.
